MAKING A LOGO

First impressions are very important in business.
In the marketing world, if you don’t succeed at the first time, you rarely will succeed afterward.
 Companies must define their identity, it includes the color palette, typography, shapes, facts of products and purpose, and all of this must be represented in a logo, face in business world. The logo is a design that will be linked to the company for a considerable period; so you must take the time to design it in the most appropriate way. Before you design it is essential to determine what are your values and what are your differences from the competition, also follow the next tips.
  • Forget fashion and do not refer to a specific time
  • Use vector images, can be used at any scale.
  • Do not use pictures, could pixelate depending on the size chosen.
  • Choose a font that matches the image and style of design.
  • Little effects. Use little shade and brightness.
  • Never copy, be original.

The logo can be formed by an image, a word, or combination of both. To get the image, you must look for pictures related with the company or from products, and create an image. This one should be easy to remember, using few colors and lines. To get the word you must make some questions such as: Who we are? What is our objective? For whom are we working? Then, using those answers, you can create a word, easy to pronounce, with many vowels and only one or two syllables. Also, you can select a common word in different languages. Finally you can mix word and image making one figure, or you can put next to each other or one above the other. The logo has to look good in a small or large size. Moreover, keep in mind that the logo not only has to look good in color way , it is necessary in black and white too.

Sometimes people choose pictograms or figures that have nothing to do with the object of the company but yes with a tangential, or metaphorical attribute of the company  personality.

You may use a slogan beside the logo, a short and striking phrase to use in publicity.
Use your logo in every email, every letter, every detail must be printed and in other things as: bags, pens, cards and t-shirts. Also, use it in social networks are very important, having a page on it with all details and specifications from your company, it will help you to have more customers. If your logo is clearly and simply, it will be easily remembered and understood, it’s really worth trying.
